I have an admin with 90 access

he cannot see the sm_chat even though I have it set for 90 access
in the player data I notice he plays mostly without steam running in the background is this the cause of him not seeing the sm_chat?

Yes, steam has to run otherwise player can not be authenticated as Admin. You can also use shortcut @ instead sm_chat in console

Also non admin users can also use @ they just cant read it, so for example if you know there is an admin on the server and you think somebody is cheating you can send a message to ingame admins

so a non admin can send a message to the admins but the non admins cannot read admin messages. is that correct?

lol I just tried it and found I am using the new experience and it seems either that or some other gsc file is preventing me from using the @ key on my servers.
I will find the problem when I have time. (best for me to remove the main_shared directory and try again to make sure its a gsc file)

Damm I feel stupid in using the @ key I forgot to do it in chat that was my problem sad to say.
