Hi, We have the main plugins folder in a main-server-files and plugins are also part of the xbase_00.iwd in CoD4X.

To test I renamed the plugin directory in main-server-files (to plugins-hold) and then started server again. The plugin julia still loads from the xbase_00.iwd no problem.

My question is is it ok to have both there? Which are newest? How does it prioritise which to load when both are present? essentially they are same file but...But after a CoD4X update that does not mean our main-server-files are updated?

Should I activate the the Download cod4x files from GitHub plugin..That gets them but does not update them?

Sorry for the noob questions. I notice pchat.so plugin in Xbase is not in our main.-server-files plugins folder so I am wondering what to use and from where? . Do you guys use censor, antispam and what is pchat? If they are useful I will use.

An idiots guide would be great 🙂

      Thank You
      Smiley

Use xbase_00.iwd plugins, if there is an update on plugin julia I will inform everyone here. If you have plugins directory and inside it plugins thoose plugins will be loaded instead plugins inside xbase_00.iwd file

Since the servers have been auto updated to the latest release your symlink is probably renamed inside cod4-port directory/ies. You can compile the latest bin files after that rename back your symlink

Every plugin has a short description what for is it used

I keep hitting the 'Escape' key - but I'm still here. ...

@neho Thx NeHo. That makes it a bit clearer for me 🙂

I kept the plugins folder in main-server-files but empty so it will use xbase_00.iwd The symlink is still in port number directory and as it was.

Don't seem to be able find description of plugins and what they are for how to use etc.

Most of the plugins are pretty much useless as I experimented and for what I want. 🙂

julia is the only girl for me 🙂
